Pumpkins. Assorted ancient varieties of pumpkins and other vegetables. These include cabbage (upper centre), a variety of chard (lower left) and red, orange and blue pumpkins. An Etampes pumpkin is at centre right (orange/red), Hungarian blue pumpkins are at lower centre and lower right, a pattison squash (white) is at top left, and a potimarron or chestnut pumpkin (red) is at upper left. Pumpkins are from the Cucurbita group of plants, cabbages are from the Brassica group and chard is from the Beta group.
