Benzylpiperazine (BZP) drug molecule. Computer molecule of the recreational drug BZP, which is a stimulant with effects similar to that produced by amphetamine. It is not addictive and no deaths have been reported following the sole use of the drug, but adverse effects (such as psychosis, renal toxicity and seizures) have been reported. It is banned in the United States, Australia and New Zealand, and parts of Europe including the United Kingdom. Atoms are colour-coded: hydrogen (white), carbon (brown) and nitrogen (green).
