Medical monitoring by mobile phone. Artwork depicting the use of implanted chips and a mobile phone to provide continuous monitoring of a man's health. The implants measure vital signs such as heart rate, blood pH, levels of insulin and other hormones (such as testosterone) and blood sugar. The data is downloaded automatically from the implants to the man's mobile phone, which sends the readings to a medical centre. Any deviation from healthy levels alerts a doctor, who can analyse the data and if necessary send a warning to the patient.
