This is the AxSym Toxo machine, which analyses samples of blood to ascertain the levels of the human antibody IgG (immunoglobulin G). IgG assays are commonly done to test for food allergies. IgG is the most abundant immunoglobulin and is found in all body fluids. It is involved in marking bacterial or viral proteins for destruction by the body's defence systems.
