An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), is a procedure where excess fat and skin is removed from the lower abdomen and the muscles of the abdominal walls are tightened. The abdominoplasty wound (left) has already been stapled and is now being stitched. A liposuction device (top centre) is being used to remove the fat that could not be excised.
