The implant is a two stage process where implants are surgically drilled into the jaw bone very slowly so as not to damage the bone, giving it maximum potential for bonding with the titanium implant. Protective caps are then screwed on and left for at least three months in order that the bone may grow around the implant, creating a very strong support. Once bonded, very natural-looking crowns will be placed on the implant.
