Website source code visualisation, computer artwork. This image was created using software designed to transform the source code of www.google.com website into a graphical tree structure. Source codes for creating websites are written using Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), a text-based computer language that is converted into web pages by graphical browsers. HTML is formatted by tags, which may contain several sub tags. The tree software recognises the main tag as the trunk and sub tags as branches. The centre tree corresponds to the domain and neighbouring trees represent sub pages of the domain. Colour is assigned according to colour commands within the source code.
