Argiope spider (Argiope sp.) in its web. This spider is known by the way it sits in its web in a cross-like shape. It spreads its legs outwards forming two pairs of legs each side of its body. This spider is found throughout the world. It is harmless and like other spiders, feeds on insects. The female is larger than the male with a body length of up to three centimetres.
