Fanaloka (Fossa fossana). The Fanaloka is part of the family Eupleridae and is a group of Malagasy carnivores. It resembles a small fox and it is very rare. The Fanaloka is native to the tropical forests of Madagascar. It is nocturnal and feeds on small vertebrates, insects and eggs stolen from birds' nests. Photographed in Madagascar.
