Long-tailed skua (Stercorarius longicaudus), 19th century artwork. The smallest of all the skuas, this seabird breeds in Arctic regions of Europe, Asia and North America. It hunts its own food, or scavenges it from other birds. It feeds mainly on fish, small mammals and carrion. Artwork printed in 1866.
