Granulated seastar (Choriaster granulatus) amongst corals on a reef. This starfish is found on coral reefs and sandy bottoms throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific region, from east Africa to the western Pacific Ocean. It feeds on detritus and dead animals and can reach a diameter of around 25 centimetres. Photographed off Misool, Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia.
