Therapy for violinist. Occupational therapist Philippe Chamagne (left) instructs an injured female musician who must relearn to play violin. Her injured right wrist was fractured and has been operated upon. Her therapy is aimed at developing her normal violin-playing capacity. Chamagne has developed a programme to exercise muscles, ligaments and joints without affecting the healing process. Unhealthy habits in body posture and music playing techniques are also corrected. Musicians suffer ailments associated with their profession: cramp, lumbago, arthritis, damaged vocal chords. This therapy can offer both injury rehabilitation and preventative measures.
