Poster for $10,000 reward issued c1880 by the US Government for the capture of the outlaws Sam and Belle Starr. Myra Maybelle Shirley Reed (1848-1889) known as Bell Starr, the Bandit Queen, married a Cherokee Indian, Sam Starr, in 1880. Sam Starr was killed in a gunfight in 1886. Bell was murdered, shot while riding home one night.
