Rue herb. Leaves and stems of the common rue (Ruta graveolens). Preparations from this plant have been used to relieve the seizures associated with epilepsy. Infusions also have a stimulant effect. The plant is toxic in large doses, however, and can provoke abortions in pregnant women.
