The main body of the appliance (red) is made from plastic, and contains a bag and an electric motor, which drives a fan. The flexible hose is fitted with a rectangular head with a hole in the bottom through which the dust enters the vacuum cleaner. The appliance does not contain a vacuum, but uses the fan to suck air through the hose into a collection bag. The air passes through the bag, but any dust particles suspended in the air are trapped.
