Femoral anteversion. The 'squinting in' of the knees of this person is a result of a turning in of the femurs. It usually occurs as a congenital abnormality. Deformities of the leg bones are common during early childhood and do not usually require treatment unless they persist. Orthopaedic surgery (osteotomy) may be necessary to realign the leg and prevent damage to the joint.
