Wheelchair workshop. Wheelchair designer helping a student on a wheelchair technologists training course in Tanzania. The course covers all aspects of wheelchair design and production including prescription, fitting and assessment. It was set up by the Motivation Charitable Trust in conjunction with the Tanzania Training Centre for Orthopaedic Technologists (TATCOT) in 1999. People with mobility disabilities are encouraged to apply, and the course is open to students from across Africa.
