Chemotherapy equipment and drugs. Vials of cancer drugs with a cancer drug pump. This device is designed to deliver measured doses of cancer drugs to a patient while stil being portable. The pump can be carried in a bag (not seen), which is strapped around the waist. The tube running from the pump goes under the patient's clothing to a suitable vein, allowing the drugs to be pumped into the patient's bloodstream. This allows the patient to carry out normal day-to-day activities while being treated for their cancer, as opposed to having intensive chemotherapy sessions at a hospital.
