This luminous discharge results from high-energy interactions between the human outline and a strong applied electric field. Although the outline seen here is non-living, the shape, colour and form of the discharge around a living human is said to represent its aura, which, according to some, represents the physical and mental health of the individual. Some therapists claim to be able to repair the damaged auras of people, and to diagnose diseases before physical symptoms become apparent. These claims are not supported by conventional medicine."
