Suitcase cooker. Equipment for heating food, cont- ained within a suitcase. This portable cooker, seen here with a meal in it, is designed for use during missions aboard the American space shuttle. The equipment can heat separate foods to different temperatures. During operation it is plugged into a power point. The equipment is designed to be energy efficient to minimise the drain on the shuttle's batteries.
