The electronic text for an eBook may be bought from online bookstores, or text, graphics or sounds downloaded from a personal computer or the Internet. Text can then be manipulated using a stylus on the eBook's touch-sensitive screen. The font may be altered, sections bookmarked, notes made in the margin, words searched for, or text underlined or reorientated. The rocket eBook, which weighs just over 600 grams, has a recharge- able battery that lasts for up to 40 hours.
