Virtual reality. Man in a virtual (VR) reality set-up. He is wearing goggles that depict a computer-generated three-dimensional image of a virtual environment, in this case the interior of an aeroplane. A two-dimensional image of that environment is also projected on to the screen. The black glove is covered in sensors that allow the man to 'see' his hand and 'feel' objects in the virtual environment. A scenario like this could be used to train cabin crew.
