Headlamp assembly. This car part is designed to be secured to the front of a car to illuminate the road ahead in the dark. The main light bulbs are each surrounded by a reflector, a parabolic mirror that focuses the light from the bulb to a point in front of the vehicle. The glass front is designed to diffuse the light emitted, so that the area immediately in front and to the side of the car is also illuminated. This is achieved by the grooves or ribs in the glass front, which act like prisms. Also seen in this assembly are a side light (upper right) and an indicator light (orange).
