Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH), or Forestier's disease, is a non-inflammatory disease, with the principal manifestation being calcification and ossification of spinal ligaments and the regions where tendons and ligaments attach to bone (entheses). The exact cause is unknown.
