Peter Fraser, British geneticist. Fraser is leader of the Nuclear Dynamics ISP (Institute StrategicProgramme) at the Babraham Institute, in Babraham, Cambridgeshire, UK. The Institute, founded in 1948, acquired its current name in 1993. It is a major research centre for epigenetics. Fraser's research group studies the role played by chromatin in cellular gene expression, and how the 3D structure of chromosomes affects genome functions.
