Satire on gluttony. 17th-century satirical text on gluttony and excess, with an artwork showing two men smoking, drinking and playing dice at a barrel-table in vaulted room with a bed in the background. The tract is titled 'The Sucklington Faction'. It satirises the troop of horsemen (cavalier dandies) raised by the English poet John Suckling (1609-1642) to support King Charles I. Suckling was part of the school of poets known as the Cavalier poets. This tract was published in London in 1641. The English Civil War (16421651) broke out the following year.
