Barred spiral galaxy NGC 7479, Hubble Space Telescope image. NGC 7479 lies about 105 million light-years from Earth, in the constellation Pegasus. It belongs to the SBb(s) type which contains galaxies with a well defined nuclear bar at the centre and the arms spring from the end of it at right angles.
