Palaeocoma egertoni, brittle star fossil. Brittle stars are related to starfish but, unlike starfish, they can crawl across the sea floor using their flexible arms. This one was found in rocks in England dating from the Jurassic and Lias. It has a maximum diameter of 8 centimetres. This species is similar to today's living brittle stars. It is part of the collections held at the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
