The Darul Aman palace was built by King Amanullah Khan, during the 1920s. It is situated on a valley, 10 kilometers from Kabul. The Palace went through many ups and downs with the political crisis of Afghanistan. It will be used as the seat of future parliament of Afghanistan. May 5, 2006.
