The 1.8 Kilometers long Hardinge bridge over the Padma river, on Dhaka-Kolkata railway line. It was built in 1912 by British engineer Sir Robert Gailes and named after Lord Hardinge; the Viceroy of India from 1910 to 1916. The bridge connects Pakshi and Bheramara stations on the broad gauge railway from Khulna to Parbatipur. April 28, 2008. Pakshi, Pabna, Bangladesh.
