Red Waxcap - Hygrocybe sp. is found here off the coast path in a steeply sloping meadow between Tresaith and Penbryn in Ceredigion. The red Hygrocybe species overlap in appearance so much that smell and tactile features plus microscopy are essential if you need to be certain of their identification.
