Anurognathus pterosaur. Computer illustration of the head of an Anurognathus sp. pterosaur chasing a wasp. This small winged dinosaur lived during the Tithonian stage (around 152 to 145 million years ago) of the late Jurassic Period, in what is now Germany. It had a short head with sharp pin-like teeth for catching insects and an estimated wingspan of around 50 cm.
