Stibnite, also called antimonite, is a sulphide of the element antimony, chemical formula Sb2S3. It is an orthorhombic, lead-grey mineral with a metallic luster. Here displayed is a sample of radiating columnar crystals that are striated over their length. Both more massive, as well as slender crystals are common.
