Fossil remains of scallop shells on a slab of Lower Miocene limestone from nearby Lacoste, in the French Vaucluse. The species here seen is Chlamys latissima, now extinct. They are marine bivalve molluscs, belonging to the Pecten family. Actual dimension of this slab is 40 x 67 cm.
