Longneck baby sleeping in a hammock. Approximately 300 Burmese refugees in Thailand are members of the indigenous group known as the Longnecks. The largest of the three villages where the Longnecks live is called Nai Soi; located near Mae Hong Son City. Longnecks wear metal rings on their necks which push the collarbone down and extend the neck. They are a tourist attraction. Tourists visit Nai Soi to Ton Koene
