Cattle round-up, late 19th century. Herds of cattle on the plains of the American Midwest at a location called Moss Agate. This photograph is part of the collection produced by US photographer John C. H. Grabill. His sepia-toned images documented the settlement of South Dakota and Wyoming, and mostly date from the period 1887 to 1892.
