Electricity to replace food . A forecast that in the future light will take the place of food in providing sustenance for the human body was made by Professor A M Low in London , when he demonstrated the method by which he believes the new form of " diet " will be adminstered . It is considered that the energy taken from the body in the course of an average day 's activity will be replaced more satisfactorily by electrical means than by the consumption of food as at present .
