Mr Hinton , who is regarded as the " King " of London 's duck island in St James Park , London , has just celebrated thirty years work looking after the hundreds of ducks which have their home on an island in the lake . Mr Hinton lives in a tiny cottage on a narrow strip of land which joins the island , so that he can always be at hand to attend to his charges .
