MP Helps To Distribute Milk To Children From Distressed Areas When They Arrive In Early Morning . Over a thousand children from the distressed areas Ayreshire , some of whom have never seen their parents in work , arrived in London in the early morning for a day ' s outing . The children ' s train stopped at Cricklewood Station on its way to St . Pancras and the young visitors were welcomed by Sir Reginald Blair , MP for Hendon and Lady Blair . Milk was distributed to the children by dairymaids .
