Miss Christina Foyle weds co-director at Soho church Miss Christine Foyle, director of Foyles Bookshop in Charing Cross Road and famous as an organiser of literary luncheons, was married at St Anne's Church, Soho, to Mr Ronald Batty, also a director of the bookshop. After the ceremony, the bride and bridegroom left the church through the vestry door because, the bride explained, she wished to avoid getting confetti in her hair. The bride is 26 and her bridegroom, 28. Both will continue to work at the bookshop. The couple will pay a honeymoon visit to America in February.
