Delegates of the three Farmers Unions, representing organised agriculture in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, had their first conference with the new Minister of Agriculture, Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith, at the Ministry of Agriculture in Whitehall, London. The organisations represented the National Farmers Union of England and Wales, the National Farmers Union and Chamber of Agriculture of Scotland and the Ulster Farmers Union.
