16 year old may play in the World Cup. Brazil's hopes of winning the World Cup for the third consecutive time in England this month, suffered another set back at the Ullevi stadium, Gothenburg last night, when their outside left Parada, was carried off with a badly gashed left leg, near the close of the warm up game. The full extent of the damage will not be known until later today, but meanwhile Parada joins his distinguished colleague, Amarildo, who sustained a thigh injury in training on June 28th, on the the casualty list. Edu who is their stand-in and who is already regarded as "king" Pele's "Crown Prince ". May yet play in the world cup in Britain this month. 1st July 1966.
