In a fine selection of crispy clinches which sometimes make one think that at last the producer has slipped up. But, whatever you say, there's no denying that not only Sean Connery who plays the title role will get the kicks in this latest film ... Thunderball. Decidedly good for the audiences' circulation ... even if wives do make certain acid comments afterwards. Just for the record, the principal threat to security on Bond's horizon this time is Mlle. Claudine Auger whom we see in these pictures helping Bond to flirt healthily with danger. Her guardian is the villain largo. She believes he has her followed. Which is why Bond sports a pistol on the beach in the middle of quite another pastime. Thunderball, from the book by the late Ian Fleming, is being produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert Broccoli ... the same team that produced the previous Bond blood and thunder epics. - 19th April 1965
