Under the nationalisation of the railways all the rolling stock throughout the country is receiving its new colours - names and numbers. Photo shows - at the railway sheds at derby, putting the finishing touches to a newly painted engine. It is painted green - lined in red, cream and grey. It has a new nationalisation number - and "British Railways" 25th May 1948
