For reasons of security, bright orange-yellow patches on uniforms made from blue material mark prisoner who are detained in the maximum security wing of Durham Gaol, where three of the Great Train Robbers are serving 30 year sentences. The picture, taken during a recent organised press visit to the gaol, was taken inside a cell in the security wing, where extremely strict security precautions are the order of the day. - 31st January 1966
