A number of prefabricated houses have been erected at the top fo Portland Place, West London. Rubble on the site has been cleared away and the prefabs are now surrounded by small but most attractive gardens. Photo shows Mr. A. E. Penny at work in his garden in Park Crescent Mews West, London W.1. He has occupied one of the prefabricated houses ever since they were erected four months ago. An electrician by trade, he has laid out the garden in his spare time. 25th June 1946. 固opFoto
