Friedrich Georg Stangl, thirty year old Austrian who hid eleven years in a French cellar afraid of arrest because he had fought with Hitler's SS forces,meets hisniece Aloisia, 3 1/2, for the first time at his smother's farm at Roehrabrunn, lower Austria, thirty miles north of Vienna. Strangl says he was looked after in a Normandy village family's cellar by a darakhaired French beauty called "Janine". She led him there when Allied Forces occupied the Continent in 1944. When she heard the Austrian State treaty had been he left the cellar and went back to Austria. Now he says "If I can't find a good job I may go back and marry Janine!" 14th June 1955
