Bernard Richard Hauptman has been arrested in New York on suspicion of being connected with the kidnapping of Colonel Lindbergh's baby son - the money ( which was paid out for the ransom of the child ) has been found hidden in an oilcan underneath the floor of a garage annexed to a house occupied by Hauptman in the Bronx district in New York - photo shows Hauptman handcuffed in Greenwich Village Police Station in New York City after his arrest September 29th 1934
