Mr G B Cush ( son of a solicitor and holder of all the international Class J records at Brooklands ) has designed a midget car for racing on speedways - it is an 845cc Vitesse-Gush capable of 105 mph - Midget-car racing is to be introduced at the West Ham Speedway with the speedway riders driving - Harold ( Tiger ) Stevenson ( captain of the West Ham team ) is going to build a midget car of his own and Mr Victor Martin ( maker of the Martin-Jap speedway machines ) is also interested in the Innovation - photo shows Mr G B Gush lifting his midget car with one hand to make an adjustment at West Ham watched by Harold ( Tiger ) Stevenson June 20th 1935
