Bernard Richard Hauptman has been arrested in New York on suspicion of being involved in the kidnapping of Colonel Lindbergh's baby son. The money which was paid out for the ransom of the child has been found hidden in anoilcan underneath the floor of a garage annexed to a house occupied by Hauptman in the Bronx district of New York.
